IBM is offering a 2–3 month in-person Business Operations Intern role within its Business Operations – Special Projects Team in Bangalore, targeting high-potential MBA students. The role focuses on working on strategic, data-driven initiatives with direct exposure to executive leadership, enabling interns to contribute to business transformation and operational improvements. As part of IBM Consulting, interns will gain hands-on experience in analytics, reporting, and cross-functional execution while leveraging technologies like AI, data science, and business intelligence tools. The internship emphasizes learning, innovation, collaboration, and professional growth in a hybrid work environment, providing exposure to real-world consulting and business operations challenges within a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic and operational special projects within the Business Operations team
• Analyze business data to generate actionable insights and recommendations
• Build dashboards, models, and reports using Excel and Power BI
• Apply AI and data-driven approaches to improve business performance
• Develop executive-ready presentations and present insights to senior leadership
• Work cross-functionally to execute initiatives end-to-end

Requirements

• Eligibility & Education:
• Master’s Degree (MBA preferred)
• 0 years of experience required Technical & Functional Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced analytics and modeling)
• Knowledge of Power BI and data visualization
• Basic understanding of AI and Data Science concepts
• Ability to work independently on complex problem statements
• Strong structured thinking and problem-solving skills Other Skills:
