Tesla is hiring for the role of SOC Verification Graduate Intern within its AI Hardware team in Bengaluru, focused on advancing artificial intelligence through cutting-edge hardware innovation. The team develops custom AI inference chips that power neural networks used in Full Self-Driving (FSD) systems and the Optimus humanoid robot, driving improvements in computational efficiency and performance. This role involves pre-silicon RTL verification at both block and SOC levels, requiring strong knowledge of SOC architecture and verification methodologies. Interns will work in a highly collaborative environment with cross-functional teams to build scalable, flexible, and metric-driven verification environments while contributing to the development and validation of advanced AI hardware systems.
Responsibilities
Develop and set up SOC-level verification environments in collaboration with team members
Architect reusable UVM-based test benches and integrate multi-instance VIPs, subsystem test benches, and test suites
Work closely with Design, Architecture, Software (SW), Firmware (FW), and external IP teams for integration and verification
Create coverage-driven verification plans based on specifications
Execute, review, and refine verification processes to meet coverage targets
Define and review verification and validation test plans across the team
Assist in post-silicon validation and SOC bring-up activities
Understand and verify SOC architecture components including DDR, PCIe, USB, DMA, memory management, multiprocessor systems, memory controllers, PLL, power-up, and secure boot schemes
